Time Flies
I confess that I have not really gotten the hang of this blog thing. I couldn't remember the last time I put up a post and was surprised to see it had been over a month.
I'm not sure where the month of October has gone but I can tell you that it has not slowed down as has been the case most other new fiscal years. September was a blur...working 50-60 hour weeks and then some. Through it all though, I am amazed that I find time to clean house, do laundry, spend time with my kids much less blog.
I confess...my new-found diet has crashed and burned. I found the five pounds I lost. Too many "just this time" desserts and birthday celebrations. Grandma Great makes the best chocolate cake and we were fortunate to have it twice in one week! Then there was the pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad and BBQ coleslaw for Caitlin's birthday celebration...yikes. I better figure out soon how to lose or hide from those five pounds or they will be the cause of a tail-spin towards Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I saw Kim, the personal trainer from the Federal Fitness Center, as I entered the building after having lunch with Jim today. She said she wanted to see me soon...I want to see her too, but my will to go work-out during the middle of the day has diminished exponentially with time.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll have the motivation I lack...just maybe.
