I Can't Make Up My Mind
Okay...I confess that I've already changed the name of this blog.
A saying somewhere in the back of my brain kept floating around so I finally Googled the words confession and lunatic and found exactly what I was looking for - Anonymous Confessions of a Lunatic Friend. Google...what ever did we do before it? But that's a discussion for another day. Back to why I changed the title...it's a borrowed from the album title of an 80's Christian singer, Bryan Duncan.
First, I think I have to be a lunatic for agreeing to start this detox. Second, often I look like a lunatic first thing in the morning with my curly hair all askew like a deranged minister (borrowed this time from the TV Show "Judging Amy" with Tyne Daly). Lastly, one of the definitions of lunacy is "extreme foolishness or an instance of it." The Bible says "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:18). Perhaps that's were Bryan Duncan got his inspiration for his album title...at any rate, it speaks volumes to me, the confessing lunatic.
