Why I Called this blog Confessions

I must confess that I never thought I'd ever use a blog.

I thought about a title and was thinking "Confessions of a Working, Sleep-Deprived, Mother of Four who Loves Her Kids and Husband Totally." That seemed a little overboard.

I also thought about the DETOXIFICATION I have agreed to do with my friend from church. It's a diet that consists of three weeks of cleansing one's system from all things bad by eating only fruits and vegetables for 10 days and adding in small amounts of fish and chicken in the last 11 days.

So...I confess that I ate donuts this morning. I figured if I was going off everything tasty, one last splurge wouldn't hurt. Detox starts tomorrow. What a happy day that will be. HA.

I thought I should define why I am lonely because for those that know me, I am very blessed. I have a wonderful husband, amazing kids, and a loving, supportive family but there are times when a woman needs a woman friend with whom she can confide. I had that and lost it. Just a quick update - I was able to talk with Jim earlier today. He said "Things are going well. Please tell everyone to keep doing what they're doing." So, keep praying! God is good and I can't wait to share with you all once he gets home all that He has done! Love you!

All Things

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 How often do we wonder what God's plans are? How often do we think that He is not paying attention to the "trivialities" in our lives? I confess ... I am confident in the message of Romans 8 but yet I am weak and doubt time and time again. God, help my unbelief. Infuse me with your Spirit; grant me confidence each day.
