Just One More...Strike That, Two More

I confess...I couldn't help myself, I had to do just one more quiz. I'm not sure why but this whole idea of taking a quiz to discover something about myself has me hooked. So, this quiz is the "What is your Personality Cluster."

Now, I realize that I could come up with a totally different answer depending on how I answer the questions; however I tried to be as honest with myself as possible. It's pretty on target, if I do say so myself. What then does this really say about me? I'm neurotic? I'm inflexible? I'm what? Hmmmm. This will be something I must think on for a while. So, what's your personality cluster?

Okay, I confess...I'm really hooked. I thought after the last quiz I would quit and go to bed but I just can't help myself. AHHHHH! I'm addicted to Blogthings! So, without further ado, here's number two (I guess it's really number three...):

Interesting isn't it? Which brings me to one other thought before I close the book and go to bed. What is it about ourselves that drives us to discover more about what makes us tick? I know that I am overly critical at times, desire perfection, etc., but is this because of who I am or is it because I'm a product of my environment (home first, then school, work environment...)? This I can't answer. I wonder what the Bible says about this? Hmmm. Guess I have some studying to do!

I have an interesting quiz. It's called the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Test. It's actually pretty legit: I took it in psychology. It gives you a profile summed with four numbers. There are a lot of things you can find on your personality type. It's neat, and pretty accurate.

Thanks for the site. I took the test and came up ISTJ. I think I've taken a Myers-Briggs test before and it came out the same way. I like knowing what makes me tick and why I do certain things I do. I wasn't happy about taking the test before because my boss wanted everyone to post their results at their cube so everyone would know what their "type" was. I felt like I was being put in a box. I felt like it was too personal to be posted publicly. What do you think?

Hmm... I dunno. I can certainly see why he'd want to do it. But it's kind of uncomfortable for people to be able to read a one page summary of someone interpreting your personality. I'm INFJ. Only 2% of the population has it. I feel special. :D

Post Script to Holy vs. Hypocritical

I thought I should define why I am lonely because for those that know me, I am very blessed. I have a wonderful husband, amazing kids, and a loving, supportive family but there are times when a woman needs a woman friend with whom she can confide. I had that and lost it. Never have I felt more secure in a friendship than with her. Then there was a turning point and it all changed. When I look back and try to figure out what went wrong, I go over scenarios in my head and what-ifs but I always come up with the fact that it really doesn’t matter how it came about but that it has happened. All Things

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 How often do we wonder what God's plans are? How often do we think that He is not paying attention to the "trivialities" in our lives? I confess ... I am confident in the message of Romans 8 but yet I am weak and doubt time and time again.
