Always Forever

Today in worship we sang the coolest song! Jim taught it to us this summer when he came back from Super Summer but the impact of the words didn't stick with me until this morning. Seems like songs are a topic that is hitting close to home these days so I'll share this one too.

Always Forever
by Phil Wickam

You are the hand that catches my fall ,
You are the friend that answers my call.

You are my day, You are my night. You are my love and all of my life.

Chorus: You are the love I need. You are the air I breathe.
You are my love my life always forever.

I would lay down my life just to be by Your side.
You are my love, my life, always forever.

You are the grace that covers my sin.
You’re everything the beginning and end.

You have my soul, my heart and my mind.
You have my love and all of my life.

I've sat here for more than a half hour trying to figure out what more I could say but I am speechless. The words of this song are too profound. Amen.

I just downloaded this song off of itunes :) Reading your blog is becoming expensive for me! Haha. I'm pretty sure this is the guy that we saw opening for David Crowder back in December. We weren't sure who he was...but he had some good stuff! His wardrobe left a little to be desired...woman's shirt and vest I'm pretty sure, but his music was good!
It would be cool to see him in concert. The song had a huge impact on me.
